Beta Stud:The betas are second in power only to the alphas. The beta stallion keeps everyone in check and makes sure that they are following the laws of the herd and respecting who they should be. Usually, a beta will work his way through all the subordinate positions until finally being appointed as beta stallion. He will also usually have been living in the herd for the longest of all the stallions, second to it's creator or the lead stallion. If the lead stallion gives her permission to, he may boot any subordinate to his rank from the herd for any reason after confirming it with the alphas.
Beta Whore: The beta mare is seen as the second most beautiful and intelligent in the herd, and may only be bred to by the beta stallion and occasionally the alpha stallion, though this happens very rarely.
